Neighbors Against the Gas Plants is a grassroots volunteer neighborhood group, with most members currently living in Northwest Philadelphia.  NAGP opposes SEPTA's plan to build a polluting fracked gas power plant at 4130 Wissahickon Avenue, or any other gas plant in residential areas of Philadelphia. Unfortunately, SEPTA received permits from the city to build the plant in 2017, but NAGP combatted the permit with an appeal. They were granted a hearing, which has spurred two continuances and not yet yielded concrete resolution. With a petition totaling hundreds of signatures and endorsements from schools, local businesses, and environmental organizations, NAGP needed a website to make resources available to communities with a desire to learn more and hold lawmakers accountable for their roles in this pivotal decision.

Using Squarespace, I created a website that followed a minimalist design format in order to present pertinent information in a way that was accessible and uncluttered. The finished website features a detailed resource archive, events calendar, links to important documents, and updates about the hearing. For more information, check out the live website or visit their facebook page
